Culinária

A Festa do Escargot e Frutos do Mar que acontece nos dias 8 e 9 de setembro, na praia da Taíba, em sua oitava edição, tem o objetivo de fortalecer todo o trade turístico do Litoral Oeste. No período do evento, a ocupação nas pousadas e hotéis da Taíba chega a 100%. “O festival é uma referência em todo o Estado e a cada ano, ganha novos adeptos que descobrem na praia da Taíba os encantos da boa culinária e têm um encontro marcado num dos mais importantes eventos de gastronomia do Ceará.

As águas

O banho é extremamente agradável, pois além das temperaturas amenas, mescla água doce e salgada como alternativa das águas interiores (onde situa-se a área referida) formada pelo espelho da lagoa dos Talos.

O terreno

Apesar de não estar à beira-mar, a área é privilegiada, pois encontra-se banhada pela Lagoa dos Talos o que propicia a tranquilidade e a beleza das águas doces.

The swim is very nice, because of the mild temperatures, mixing fresh and salt water as an alternative of inland waters (which is located in the area cited) formed by the mirror of the lagoon of Talos.

The land

Although not beachfront, the area is privileged, since it is bathed in the Lake of the stalks which offers the tranquility and beauty of fresh water.

Taiba beach, district of the São Gonçalo do Amarante, about 60 km from Fortaleza, is a piece of the littoral paradise in Ceará, beyond gorgeous beaches with natural swimming pools in rocky, falesias formations, dunes and lagoons, its 2500 inhabitants live in harmony with the nature and its visitors. Taíba has the denomination of district, and is managed by a city, São Gonçalo do Amarante, that in turn is part of a unit of the Brazilian federacy, the state of Ceará. Its population, something around two thousand inhabitants, lives in function of fishes and the tourism. It has two public schools, a gas station, a small hospital, rank, pharmacies, some inns and some restaurants. The commerce is basic, you will not find sophisticated itens.
